blackcomputeHER Data Science Executives

Black Women in Science and Engineering (BWISE) and blackcomputeHER are tackling the data science talent gap. Pathways to and incorporating data science are supported through a cohort-based structure, that offers data science trainings, coaching and peer mentoring activities, targeting professional Black women. This initiative intends to help community members achieve their data science based goals. Events are held in Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX starting September 2019. No coding experience required!

As an Affiliate, you’ll join our community to:

  1. Gain introductory knowledge and skills in Python for data-intensive problem solving and scientific discovery

  2. Identify career pathways to and incorporating data science

  3. Find and participate in next level data science training

This research collaboration is led by Dr. Brandeis Marshall, a member of the blackcomputeHER leadership develop team and founder of DataedX. Interested to learn more? Go to dataedHER.com.
